Join Us for a Free Seminar on Building Families in the LGBT Community

The physicians at RMA Long Island IVF have been helping the LGBT community become parents for decades. And we are ready to help you next.

If you are a member of the LGBT community and would like to start-- or grow-- your family, then you won’t want to miss our fall seminar on “Building Families in the LGBT Community”. It will be held in conjunction with our partners at The LGBT Network in its beautiful, new center at 125 Kennedy Drive, Hauppauge, New York, on October 24, 2019 at 6:30pm.  The event is free and all are welcome, but pre-registration is required so register here today.

Now more than ever, advancements in assisted reproductive technologies, like in-vitro fertilization, egg donation, sperm donation, and more-- along with the use of gestational carriers or surrogates if needed-- have opened up many new avenues to parenthood for the LGBT community, beyond the always-noble and loving choice of adoption. (Although surrogacy is still not legal in New York, advocacy efforts to change that are looking promising.)

Even if you aren’t ready to start slinging a diaper bag just yet, why not come down and learn all about the many parenthood options available to most LGBT members—including options that can provide you with a biological link to your child if that’s important to you.

In about two hours, the speakers at our seminar will answer everything you ever wanted to know about today’s many LGBT Family-Building options at RMA Long Island IVF. Reproductive endocrinologist, Dr. David Kreiner, along with one of our financial counselors and other key RMA Long Island IVF team members, will introduce you to the fascinating world of assisted reproductive technology and specifically how it’s used to help the LGBT community become parents. In addition to hearing from a representative from the LGBT Network, a special guest speaker and reproductive rights attorney and advocate, Amy Demma, will be there to explain the legal aspects of LGBT family-building. (And if you are interested in joining the advocacy efforts to legalize surrogacy in New York, ask Amy about that, too.)

Building LGBT families is different from so-called “traditional” family-building. As a practice made up of both LGBT and non-LGBT employees, RMA Long Island IVF truly understands the nuances that make your parenthood quest unique to you, whether you are gay, lesbian, bisexual or transsexual. We’re committed to using the most cutting-edge medical technologies to help you circumvent biological obstacles to parenthood if that’s your dream—because everyone has the right to become a parent.

Please join us at The LGBT Network’s new Hauppauge Center on October 24, 2019 to learn about the many ways we can help you achieve your dream. Bring your partner or a friend, have some refreshments, and get those questions answered. We look forward to meeting you.
